No bad blood. Izzy Goodkind and Vinny Ventiera have been talking since their Bachelor in Paradise breakup and their awkward After Paradise encounter. Us Weekly caught up with Goodkind at the NYFW x Paralympic Games 2016: “Celebrate the Imperfections” Beach of Brazil event, held at NYC’s Attic Rooftop, on Wednesday, September 7, to chat about what happened after After Paradise.
“We’ve seen each other, and we are nothing but friends,” Goodkind, 25, told Us Weekly of their relationship now. “We are very happily both doing our own thing. And it is what it is. We have communicated a lot since then.”
Goodkind dumped Ventiera, 28, to pursue her feelings for newcomer Brett Melnick, so the Delray Beach, Florida, native decided to leave Mexico. The graphic designer later realized she made a mistake and called up Ventiera to ask if they could pick up where they left off, but Ventiera said there was no coming back from what happened. They later faced off on After Paradise on August 23, and both explained their respective sides to the story.
“Everything happens for a reason, and I had the most amazing time in Paradise, and Vinny was so great,” she told Us. “We had a great relationship on camera and off camera.”
The brunette beauty told Us that she’s still single right now and looking for love in New York City. “I’m not dating anyone in particular,” she said. “I’m definitely going to be getting myself out there, and there’s nothing holding me back now, so I’m happy.”
