FXX’s Dave is back with yet another season, continuing the funny story of rapper Lil Dicky as he tries to convince people around him of his talent. The series, which stars David Burd, aka Lil Dicky, as a fictionalized version of himself, first premiered in 2020.

Dave Season 3 Release Schedule
Dave season 3 premieres on FXX on April 5th at 10 pm ET. The first two episodes of the season, titled Texas and Harrison Ave, will be released together as a part of the special premiere. The rest of the episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays.
Just like the first two installments, the third season is all set to feature 10 episodes, with the finale scheduled to air on May 31st. The episodes will also be available to stream on Hulu a day after their television release on Thursdays. Here is the full release schedule:

What is Dave Season 3 About?
As per the official description of the third season by FXX: “Dave is headlining his first-ever tour and looking for love along the way. But as he and the gang crisscross America, they discover firsthand how diverse the cultural landscape of the United States really is – and how often fame puts pressure on love and friendship.”
In the first two seasons, Dave was seen trying to make a mark in the ever-dynamic music industry while trying to prove himself to his friends and family, who were skeptical about his talent. Meanwhile, he also faced several ups and downs, with heartbreaks on the way.
Who Stars in Dave Season 3?
The main cast will be seen reprising their roles in the new season. Apart from Lil Dicky, the show stars Taylor Misiak as Ally Wernick, Andrew Santino as Mike, GaTa as himself, Christine Ko as Emma, Travis “Taco” Bennett as Elliot, Christine Ko as Emma, Gina Hecht as Carol Burd, David Paymer as Don Burd and Benny Blanco as himself.
Dave is also famous for its celebrity guest appearances. The third season will have cameos by Demi Lovato, Usher, Don Cheadle, Rick Ross, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Travis Barker, and Killer Mike.
Talking about the guest appearances, executive producer James Shin said in a recent interview, “I mean, look, if we could get Barack Obama, that’d be amazing. Literally, the sky’s the limit with this one. I think you’ll see with how the season goes; it’s bigger, it’s bolder, we’re really going for it.”
He added, “And it’s not just like, ‘Let’s get the biggest rapper in the game.’ I think it’s extended beyond that. It’s about, How can we get people who, yes, are awesome and you’re like, holy s***, but at the same time, makes sense for the story we’re telling?”
