October 2024 · 2 minute read

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville were going strong as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, but their time on top of the women’s division ended suddenly. Deville is out of action with an ACL injury, and now Chelsea Green needs a new partner.

Chelsea Green and Carmella were actually the original team, but then the Princess of Staten Island went out of action with her pregnancy. Sonya Deville was moved in to take Carmella’s spot, and her tandem with Green soon found a lot of praise with fans and WWE higher-ups.

WWE looked at Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green’s team would revitalize the Women’s Tag Team Division in WWE. That being said, things changed quickly when Deville went down with an ACL injury that required reconstructive surgery.

Chelsea Green spoke to Corey Graves on After The Bell, where the idea was pitched that she could hold auditions for her next partner. That being said, she posted on X to let fans know that the search is on.

Chelsea’s Got Talent auditions

THE WWE Woman’s Tag Team Champion invites YOU to audition. Please submit your full name, entry video & include any hidden talents I may be able to use to my advantage, as your tag team partner.

Chelsea Green also said that she might rename her title to the “Undisputed Unified World Heavyweight Women’s Tag Team Champion.” She might have something with Chelsea’s Got Talent, because all she needs is a buzzer and a comfy chair.

Chelsea Green understands that you can’t be a one-dimensional wrestler, and it’s anyone’s guess if she will eventually find someone who meets her criteria. If anything, she has our attention.

What’s your take on Chelsea Green’s ride as Women’s Tag Team Champion? Will she lose the titles? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you’re thinking!
