Lomachenko was born on February 17, 1988, to Anatoly Lomachenko and Tetiana Lomachenko in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine. He has a sister Anastasiia Lomachenko. Anatoly was a professional boxer. Currently, he trains his son, Vasyl.
