Big Brother is a reality competition show where a certain number of houseguests compete in competitions and social games to try to win a half a million dollars. Its 23rd season is set to air sometime this summer on CBS.
However, one of the big things to happen during the show, that is not planned out in the beginning, are showmances. A "showmance" is when houseguests fall for each other in the house and usually become a "couple." This typically results in the duo being split up by one of the members being voted out of the house. There have been numerous showmances over the years, but there are only a select few who have made it into a legit romance.
Some couples dated outside the house and broke up later and some are still together to this day. Some say that Big Brother has had more successful relationships than The Bachelor. Read on to find out if your favorite couple made it or not.
10 Jordan Lloyd And Jeff Schroeder
Everyone's favorite couple, Jeff and Jordan, from seasons 11 and 13, are happily married and have two sons, Lawson and Layton. They met on season 11 and flirted all throughout. Jordan wound up winning that season while Jeff scored America's Favorite Player. A few years later, they came back to the Big Brother house for another season. They went on The Amazing Race 16 and Marriage Bootcamp. And then after that, they appeared on season 16 of Big Brother where Jeff proposed.
9 Rachel Reilly And Brendon Villegas
Rachel and Brendon met on season 12 and then played again on season 13. They were very loyal to each other and even stayed together after their time on Big Brother ended. After they left BB, they competed on The Amazing Race a few times and won once. They eventually got married and now have two kids, Adora and Adler. Rachel was very excited to be the first couple from the show to welcome a child.
8 Daniele Donato And Dominic Briones
Dani and Dominic met on season 13, after she came back into the house with her father (who she played with on season 8). Dominic and Dani became best friends in the house and dated after the season wrapped. They are now married with a daughter, Tennessee. Dani came back to play on All Stars in 2020 without Dominic, but their relationship is stronger than ever.
7 Nicole Franzel And Victor Arroyo
Nicole and Victor met on season 18 after Nicole came as a returning vet that year. She first played on season 16. She was actually in another showmance that season, but Victor was crushing hard. After they left the house they began dating, and then eventually got engaged in the Big Brother house. A bit before getting engaged, the couple competed on The Amazing Race 31 with a few other BB pairs. Their wedding was delayed due to the pandemic, but they just recently tied the knot and are expecting their first child.
6 Cody Nickson And Jessica Graf
Season 19's Jessica and Cody are still together today. They are married and have two children together- Maverick and Carter. Cody also has a daughter from another relationship. The couple became a quick target in the house after they started their showmance and got separated once they got voted out due to pre-jury and jury. To test their relationship even more, the pair competed on The Amazing Race 30 after leaving the Big Brother house and won.
5 Chris 'Swaggy C' Williams And Bayleigh Dayton
Swaggy C and Bayleigh had a complicated relationship. After knowing each other for two weeks on Big Brother 20, Swaggy got evicted from the house and then proposed on finale night, to which Bayleigh said yes. They later got secretly married in February 2019. Bayleigh came back to compete in Big Brother 22: All-Stars without her husband, but became the first member of the jury. They also competed on The Challenge: Total Madness. The couple also dealt with a pregnancy and miscarriage during their time on Big Brother.
4 Tyler Crispen And Angela Rummans
Tyler and Angela met on season 20 and became friends, forming an alliance with four other houseguests called Level Six. It wasn't until the end of the game that they revealed their feelings to each other. He came in second while Angela placed fourth, due to Tyler voting her out to stay loyal to his final two deal. Tyler went on to compete on season 22 All-Stars without Angela and was miserable and didn't make it very far. The pair became engaged this past January.
3 Christmas Abbott And Memphis Garrett
The couple that no one saw coming was Christmas and Memphis on All-Stars. These two were a shoo in for two former winners, who couldn't be on the show due to a reportedly positive COVID test and wound up finding love. They didn't have a showmance on the season, so when they announced they were together after the show fans were shocked. Maybe being single parents brought them together.
2 Jackson Michie And Holly Allen
The first showmance to make it to finale night actually stayed together after they left the house. Holly and Jackson met on season 21 and fell for each other pretty fast. Although he had a lot of controversy and didn't treat Holly right on the show, she still stuck with him. After their season ended, they dated for about a year and then broke things off. Quarantining together and poor communication became too much for them.
1 Faysal 'Fessy' Shafaat And Haleigh Broucher
Another season 20 couple, Haleigh and Fessy had a complicated relationship. They were a showmance inside the house, with their share of problems and even dated after the show ended. However, after a year and a half of dating, the couple called it quits. They were simply moving in different directions. Fessy competed on The Challenge 36: Double Agents, which was the beginning of their break-up.
